Seraphic,

who is injured at shadewick?

I. SUBJECT FILE

subject: Seraphic

cooperation rating: 10 / 10

intellect rating: 5 / 10

physical rating: 2 / 10

magic rating: 5 / 10

water response: yes

reported fear: Well, Seraphic is a deer. So, she has several fears that are characteristic of this:

Bears, gunshots (and other loud, startling noises), bobcats or mountain lions... She once was afraid of wolves as well, but not anymore. Ever since people like Cindy and Wolfie, she has grown fond of them.

But, her other seething fear is failure to save someone, to be powerless to watching someone suffer, especially someone she loves. She has the ability to save lives, hell, to even trade her own life for theirs. She would rather give her life than have someone die in her arms when she can prevent it. She lives to heal, and to not be able to do that scares her. Or worse, be forced to use her ability to harm, rather than heal-- as she has the power to do so easily, but refuses to.

Oh, and Armani Gorbachev.

ambition: To save. To heal. To help.

trusted names: Cindy Croft, River Kennstein, Hadeon Karmazin (but the list could go on).

untrusted names: Armani Gorbachev, Anyiel. There isn't really a third...

childhood record

Seraphic had... actually quite a normal childhood. Two loving parents that encouraged her to be her best, that always wanted the best for her.

Well, minus her ability becoming an asset to her family's clinic. Though, that was all her personal choice rather than one forced upon her. Her family for generations has run a clinic open to the injured-- a warm ray of light for those in need. Both those in her small town and others came to seek her family's aid, their angelic natures a healing light to them.

While her parents were gifted with other abilities that, while helpful, could not heal anyone-- Seraphic was special. She was gifted with the ability to change-- to swap wounds and conditions between persons and effectively heal them. But, it came at a cost-- either to herself or someone else. Seraphic, benevolent as she always has been, chose the former option. Even with her parents concerned for her, she always insisted she was fine-- that just to see someone else smile and be well was all she needed as thanks to take on whatever wound that came her way.

While much of Seraphic's life was spent in pain, healing the wounds of others herself, it was always something she chose to do, and never regretted. It was simple work, and the least she could do. She otherwise never faced troubles-- no bullying or family or financial troubles. Her life was otherwise peaceful; heavenly, even.

secrets

A weird one-- Seraphic doesn't really hide anything. She's an open book, really.

But... Seraphic has one stain in her past, though not really one many would treat as a stain, rather an act of heroism that haunts her:

A husband, drunk and abusive and angry, beating his poor defensive wife to a bloody pulp, almost to death. It was a crime unlike anything her town had seen, and the poor woman would have a long, painful recovery to reel from her terrible husband's actions. So, the townsfolk requested Seraphic to help: to condition swap between victim and perpetrator., allowing him to quite literally suffer the consequences of his own actions.

Seraphic hesitated, but at the begging of the wife's family agreed, wanting to help her. But, it pained her to see even a terrible man suffer because of her. Most would consider Seraphic's actions just, but she hates using her ability to harm anyone besides herself.

love record

They are currently in love

Cindy Croft.

Seraphic doesn't expect the same back-- she knows that Cindy treats their flings and bonds much more casually than Seraphic has. But, that's fine with her, because she values Cindy's wellbeing and wants over her own. Even if they will never be an official pair, and Seraphic will be just another fun fling for Cindy, she's fine with it. So long as she can still enjoy Cindy's comfort once in a while, she's okay with anything Cindy does; even if it's sleeping with 10 other women before curling up next to the angel.

As long as Cindy is happy, so is Seraphic.

II. SYMBOL OMEN
chamomile symbol

recorded symbol: chamomile

Chamomile universally symbolizes peace, calmness, and gentle healing. In the Victorian language of flowers, it represents "energy in adversity"—a testament to how its delicate, daisy-like blossoms can stubbornly thrive and bloom even in poor, heavily trodden soil.

III. NOTE

The next time Seraphic tries to sleep, a woman’s voice will whisper her name from somewhere beyond the room. That night she will dream of black veins moving beneath another person’s skin and feel, with absolute certainty, that she could pull the sickness into herself. She will wake with pain in a place where she was never injured.
