Students, staff, guests, and visitors are formally invited to gather at the water’s edge for Shadewick’s annual Lantern Festival, held in celebration of the turning tide, safe passage, and the old custom of offering one wish to the lake before winter takes the shore.

Write a wish or a prayer upon your lantern. When the final bell sounds, the lanterns will be released across the water together.
