childhood record
Rough.
Cindy went from being a trouble child to wanting to fit in wherever she went. Before ultimately settling with being her messy self. She tried to win her mother over when she lived with her often by emulating her. She helped her mother steal, inherited similar attitudes. However, it grew difficult for Cindy to be (what she thought) her mom wanted her to be once her Hellhound ability awoken. Her mother didn't know what to do with it - assuming that, her power came from her father's side. It only created more distance between them.
After a stint gone wrong, leading to Carol (and almost Cindy) being sentenced. Cindy began living with her grandpa, and doing so made her try to find approval in other ways. She tried to fit in wherever she went. Braided her hair, had a more preppy style, and even tried being the mean girl, though she hated it. It's only during her final years of high school that she embraced who she was and that's around the time when she took the last name 'Croft' instead of Torres.
